Michael Franko - Longtime New Jersey Commodities Trader

Michael Franko is a longtime New Jersey financial executive who guides Paddock Court Trading as a managing member. Through his commodities trading advisor (CTA) firm, he undertakes market research and executes trades on behalf of Pangea Partners, a hedge fund. Michael Franko’s firm coordinates with financial enterprises such as Arbitrage Trading Cayman, LLC.

Mr. Franko began his career in the early 1980s with Cerro Sales in Manhattan, with the traffic department. He worked his way up to a trading position and focused on metals while managing sales and risk. Next, he oversaw metals arbitrage trading as vice president at Refco for several years.

From 1999 to 2017, Mr. Franko held responsibilities at Willowbridge Associates as director of commodity trading. He effectively combined risk management with the execution of market-focused trades. During this time, Michael Franko was also active with the New York Commodity Exchange’s Copper Advisory Board and provided insight into one of the major internationally traded metals.
